RETURNED TO CHILE

Back home again, it's been 8 months of traveling between Canada and Brazil , and I return to Chile to spend my mother's birthday.

Leaving Foz do Iguaçu behind, I bought a plane ticket from Paraguay to the North of Chile in the city of Iquique , took a bus from Ciudad del Este to Asunción, the capital of Paraguay , to get to the airport and embark to Chile, finally when I arrived in Iquique and I had to go to my friend Natalia 's house, the girl I met in Canada in the city of Toronto during my bicycle trip . She offered me to stay at her family's house to get to know the city. When I left the airport I tried to hitchhiking which worked for me, since luckily for me on the plane I met an Iquiqueño who just passed by the place where I was. Arriving in the city I was greeted by Aunt Mané , Natalia's mother, an adorable family with for which I will always be grateful without a doubt. She gave me a tour of the city of Iquique, getting to know a large part of it, without a doubt a very beautiful city, especially for its coast.

Already leaving the city of Iquiqueña I am heading towards Antofagasta , my good friend Paulina would be waiting for me there, she without any problem was willing to help me and give me accommodation, for which I will always be grateful, I was a little far from the center of Antofagasta, I remember that the My friend Paulina's partner on her day off took me to see the city, we shared a little and then we returned home, one day I contacted my dear friend Madelyn who also lives in Antofagasta, she took me to the famous Cover of Antofagasta, We also went to Mano del Desierto located 119 km from where I was staying, I also shared with my friend Natanael and Madelyn's friend, better known as La Chapa , a nice and happy woman, like my friend Natanael we shared a pleasant afternoon all together, without a doubt the days in Antofagasta were good, I also visited my good friend Fernando who gave me a t-shirt and headphones for the road, I also shared with my dear friend Paola , a great person by the way, all these people are friends that I met during my time studying and I have no doubt that they are great people, my stay in Antofagasta was much more pleasant thanks to them, and although the city has its charm it was time to leave.

During the days I was in Antofagasta I was lucky that my good friend Juan , a friend from the town where I live, was coming to the North and passing through Antofagasta and then returning home, so he offered to take me with him, to which I clearly I accepted since my mother's birthday was a couple of days away and I wanted to be there to surprise her. When I went out to Highway 5 North I was waiting for him until he showed up, we made a couple of trips for his work and it turned out that I ended up bringing a truck on behalf of my friend's boss, I had to drive from the city of Antofagasta to Santiago, When I got home on my mother's birthday, everyone was preparing the surprise party. I had to stay hidden for a while until the birthday started. Being back home was a strange feeling after being used to the routine of setting up the tent. every day, in short, that day was full of emotions and happiness for my mother to see me there.
